Q. How long have you been in business for?
A. We've been in business for around 8 years now (Jun 2025), although we started out as Gentech Engineering before this. We started there in 2008 which would mean that we have been operting there for 17 years now. It's only over the past few years that we have decided to diversify and grow though
Q. What sort of industry do you work with?
A. We are an industrial engineering company, which means that we work with all kinds of light to heavy industrial engineering projects. We work predominantly with casting plants, quarry's, food production and packaging, waste management, that kind of thing
Q. What's the biggest gearbox you can repair?
A. As of yet I think that the biggest box we've reconditioned is around 4.5 tonnes. We've not been asked to do any bigger yet, although larger gearboxes aren't out of the question
Q. What type of hydraulic cylinders can you repair?
A. Hydraulic cylinders are something that we repair and manufacture more or less on a daily basis, and although some of them may look different to others, they all pretty well work the same. There isn't a 'type' of cylinder that we can't repair or manufacture
Q. What is your lead time like on repairs?
A. Unfortunately there are a few too many variables in this question. But generally if we were to have a medium size cylinder first thing in the morning, assuming we have the parts in stock, we can have it back to you the same day!
